The year was 2005. The month was May. The drink of choice, Wachusett Blueberry Ale. Derek Benoit and Jay Fay decided to give a name to the group of friends that shared an interest in not only German engineering, but also a few drinks while discussing it. Club.Broke.Status had officially been born. A constant presence at shows and events mostly throughout New England, this “social club” of friends strives to be what’s right in the Volkswagen and Audi scene today.
