Progress has been slow on my bumper project, mainly due to it being the holiday season and every other BS thing that life can throw at me. I recently made some purchases that I hope will get done once the parts arrive.
My original plan was to install a strip of LED’s behind the fog/vent like this:
Unfortunately, the area behind the fog/vent is too small and any LED strip that I could find clearly would have been too large. I went on Ebay and found a 4-pack of 12cm/12LED flexible strips. I will give those a shot and see if they work. If they don’t, then they will go in the head light housing.
I will wire them up, either way, to just blink when the turns are activated. I only want my city lights on when the markers are on.
Speaking of city lights, I recently purchased a set of these to replace the yellowish 195 bulbs in there now:
I also got myself a set of Osram Sylverstars from Powerbulbs.com. I’m going to relay them so they are nice and bright.
